The Vajra symbolizes the indestructibility of his spirituality, while the lasso or noose serves to restrain hostile energies. He is believed to protect the Dharma and escort spiritual seekers toward enlightenment. Thus, his name, "Holder of the Vajra," fittingly reflects this role.
