Buy This thangka now for good luck and to decorate and bless your house with the presence of white tara - Love and compassion.

How does Tara liberate and protect us from danger?

It is not by swooping down and carrying us away to heaven or by making a problematic situation magically disappear. Enlightened beings cannot take our defilements away, like pulling a thorn from our foot. Nor can they give us their realizations, like pouring water into an empty bowl. The fundamental way Tara—or any other buddha—benefits sentient beings is by teaching us the Dharma and inspiring us to investigate its meaning so we reach a correct understanding. She then guides us in meditation practice so we generate transformative realizations.
Through practicing what we learn, we generate the wisdom that realizes emptiness, and through meditation on emptiness, we cleanse our minds of defilements and actualise the cessation of suffering.

These Tibetan thangka art are hand painted by master artists and their apprentices in the Kathmandu Valley. Thangka painting schools in Nepal help to keep Tibetan traditions alive. Our small unframed thangkas make these masterworks available for a very low price. It's perfect addition to your home, meditation area, or altar space.

Click here to add the brocade to your thangka.

Silk Brocade is the most popular form of mounting since it is seen as having greater religious merit than other less expensive types of cloth. Framing the paintings is the traditional way to represent it.

All of our brocading work is performed by a specialised tailor with many years of brocading experience. We guarantee that your frame will look stunning and the work is usually completed within one to two business days (very large Thangkas may take a bit longer).
