This style of painting is one of our popular collection. The tibetan thangka painting is approximately 179 x 123 cm in size and is perfect for meditation or just hanging on the wall for decoration.

Manjushri Mantra for Great Wisdom and Compassion

The individual syllables A RA PA CA and NA have no conceptual meaning, although they are seen as having symbolic connections with various spiritual qualities.

A leads to the insight that the essence of all things is unproduced.

RA leads to the insight that all things are pure and free of defilements.

PA leads to the insight that all dharmas have been “expounded in the ultimate sense.”

CA leads to the insight that the arising and ceasing of things cannot be apprehended because in reality there is no arising or ceasing.

NA leads to the insight that although the names for things change the nature of things behind their names cannot be gained or lost.

Click here to add the brocade to your thangka.

Silk Brocade is the most popular form of mounting since it is seen as having greater religious merit than other less expensive types of cloth. Framing the paintings is the traditional way to represent it.

All of our brocading work is performed by a specialised tailor with many years of brocading experience. We guarantee that your frame will look stunning and the work is usually completed within one to two business days (very large Thangkas may take a bit longer).
