Namaste to all the lovely people, We are really excited to have this exhibition again as lot of people were very excited to see our products in 2018. We will be bringing some of our best collection of Thangka painting such as Mandala, Wheel of Life, Way to Heaven and other different thangka which help to visualise and concentrate to do meditation. We will also be bringing beautiful Singing Bowl with different size and tones all hand hammered and made in Nepal. See you all in the MindBodySpirit Festival at Darling Harbour International Convention Centre. Our Stand number is D32!
A thangka painting is a very special form of art. An original thangka is painted using the colouring of gemstones and is finished with gold. It’s believed that the minerals used to create the painting also give them life. Each painting takes months to complete and the eyes are painted on last since they are believed to be the way into the soul. Once the gods receive their eyes, the painting goes from being an object to being alive and therefore is treated with the utmost respect.
