Manjushri is depicted as a youthful figure in this statue, radiating a tranquil expression as he sits atop a lotus throne or stands tall. His right-hand is often shown holding a sword, symbolizing his aptitude to vanquish ignorance and erroneous perceptions. In his left hand, he holds a lotus flower on which rests a tome.
