Chengresi Thangka Painting is an original piece of art, designed by skilled Nepalese masters. Chengresi(also called Avalokiteshvara) is a greatly revered bodhisattva of compassion. Our painting portrays him in his iconic form, with a white body symbolizing purity and kindness. He is situated in a meditative posture, with his right hand offering help (varada mudra) and left holding a lotus. His four arms signify his capacity to assist in many ways. Mounted on a lotus throne, this symbolizes his enlightenment and detachment from suffering.
