Description
Vajrapani Thangkas are a classical form of Tibetan Buddhist artwork depicting the Bodhisattva Vajrapani, one of the Eight Great Bodhisattvas in Mahayana Buddhism.
Vajrapani, meaning "Holder of the Thunderbolt," is renowned for his link to power, strength, and spiritual transformation. He is depicted in a wrathful manner, with a crown, adorned clothing, and a vigorous stance. In his right hand, he holds a vajra, representing the immutable essence of truth, while his left hand holds a lasso to conquer destructive forces and hindrances.
