Description
Thangkas, a type of Tibetan painting, serve as a support for meditation practice. Manjushri, also known as Monju Bosatsu, holds significant importance in Mahayana sutras such as the Prajnaparamita, Lotus, and Avatamsaka. With his wisdom, he guides countless sentient beings towards Enlightenment. He is revered as the Bodhisattva of Wisdom in Mahayana and as an enlightened Buddha in Vajrayana. Additionally, he is one of three "great Bodhisattvas" including Avalokiteshvara and Vajrapani, who represent fundamental concepts and virtues of Buddha.
