Manjushri, also known as Monju Bosatsu, holds significant importance in Mahayana sutras such as the Prajnaparamita, Lotus, and Avatamsaka. With his wisdom, he guides countless sentient beings towards Enlightenment. He is revered as the Bodhisattva of Wisdom in Mahayana and as an enlightened Buddha in Vajrayana.
