Manjusri Thangka Panting is a Tibetan scroll painting traditionally composed on cotton or silk canvas. This religious artworks depicts Manjusri, a revered Bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism, exhibiting intricate details, intense colors, and powerful religious symbolism.
Manjusri is known for his Buddhist wisdom and the power of his sword, which symbolizes cutting through delusion. He holds a Prajnaparamita scripture in one hand, and often has an orange halo, indicating his wisdom. Seated on a lotus, he may be accompanied by two attendants. Manjusri brings enlightenment, wisdom and insight. Thangka paintings serve as objects of devotion to aid meditation and study of Buddhist teachings. They are used in rituals and ceremonies, and meditating on them brings guidance and inspiration.
