The artist has use black background and gold, silver lining to illuminate the Chengresi ornaments, lotus throne , his jewelry, and clouds. He is dressed in celestial garment with divine ornaments sitting on lotus throne in meditative position.. His eyes are frequently shown gazing downward, signifying his continual attention in seeing the world and its suffering. His face is typically depicted with a calm and loving expression. A lotus throne, which stands for purity and enlightenment, is used to depict him while he is seated.
