Chengresi Thangkas portray the bodhisattva of compassion, a prominent figure in Tibetan Buddhism. Chenrezig, known in Tibetan as Avalokiteshvara, represents the compassionate nature of all Buddhas and is highly esteemed for his compassion towards all sentient beings.
