Manjushree Thangka is a traditional form of Tibetan Buddhist painting that depicts Manjushri, a bodhisattva of wisdom. Manjushri is regarded as the embodiment of supreme knowledge, insight, and intellect and is known as the bodhisattva of wisdom. He is shown as a man deity carrying a book or text in his left hand to indicate the knowledge and wisdom he has and a sword in his right hand to represent the wisdom that cuts through ignorance.
