Description
A well-known deity in Tibetan Buddhism is Namgyalma. As a bodhisattva and a manifestation of the enlightened knowledge of all Buddhas, she is highly regarded. It is claimed that Namgyalma's practice bestows to practitioners the virtues of longevity, purity, and protection that are connected with her. She is frequently seen with a serene smile, sitting on a lotus throne, and wearing a variety of jewels and holy items.
Three faces and eight arms, each holding a different symbolic item, are common representations of Namgyalma. The left face is blue, signifying strength and cunning methods, while the right face is green, signifying compassion. The center face is white, signifying purity and knowledge. Her many arms represent her capacity to carry out several tasks at once The symbols associated with Namgyalma are said to guide their practitioners on the path to enlightenment. Practicing her meditation and rituals is believed to offer protection and peace of mind, as well as a greater understanding of wisdom and truth.
