White Tara Statue is a representation of the Buddhist deity White Tara, known as a female Bodhisattva. Tibetan Buddhism reveres Tara as a symbol of enlightened activity and the embodiment of compassionate and nurturing enlightenment.
White Tara is pictured seated in a meditative pose with her right hand in the sign of granting safety while her left hand cradles a blossoming lotus. She is typically depicted with seven eyes across her body, including a central one on her forehead and additional ones on her palms and feet, symbolizing her power to detect and diminish the misery of any living thing.
