Chinnamasta is a Tantric Hindu goddess who is a type of Goddess Parvati and is one of the ten Mahavidyas. She is an image of restraint over sexual cravings. Her love isn't extremely normal, however she is a famous goddess among Tantrics. She looks like a Buddhist goddess named Chhinnamunda. The word Chhinnamasta is involved two words, viz. Chhinna and Masta. The word Chhinna signifies "cut off," and Masta signifies "the head". Thusly, Chhinnamasta signifies "the one with a cut off head". Her picture is very fearsome as she holds her cut off head with tousled hair in her left hand and a scimitar in the other. Now and again, she is portrayed as having four hands too. She has no garments except for wears a festoon of skulls and a couple of decorations on her body. Three planes of blood spring out of her neck and are downed by her cut off head and two specialists. She remains on a making love couple who are Kamdev, the Hindu lord of sex, and his significant other, Rati. In some cases, she sits on them yet her specialists are continuously remaining with weapons in one of their hands and a platter in another hand.
