Chinnamasta is a Tantric Hindu goddess who is a type of Goddess Parvati and is one of the ten Mahavidyas. She is an image of restraint over sexual cravings. Her love isn't extremely normal, however she is a famous goddess among Tantrics. She looks like a Buddhist goddess named Chhinnamunda. The word Chhinnamasta is involved two words, viz. Chhinna and Masta. The word Chhinna signifies "cut off," and Masta signifies "the head". Thusly, Chhinnamasta signifies "the one with a cut off head". Her picture is very fearsome as she holds her cut off head with tousled hair in her left hand and a scimitar in the other. Now and again, she is portrayed as having four hands too.
